Amarkantak (M.P.) – A Free Eye Check-up Camp was successfully organized by Sri Aurobindo Netralaya, Raipur in collaboration with Shri Gurudwara Sikh Samiti and Gurudwara Sahib, Amarkantak. A total of 110 patients received comprehensive eye examinations and expert medical consultation during the camp.
During the screening, 25 patients were diagnosed with cataracts and were identified for free cataract surgery. Additionally, 60 patients were selected to receive free spectacles to help improve their vision. Patients suffering from common eye ailments were also provided with free eye drops and medicines along with necessary guidance and treatment advice.
The camp served as an important initiative to bring quality eye care services to rural and remote communities. A large number of local residents and devotees benefited from the program.
Sri Aurobindo Netralaya, Raipur reaffirmed its commitment to community welfare and stated that it will continue organizing such public health initiatives in the future to ensure better eye care services reach those in need.
