Access to quality healthcare remains a challenge for many remote villages across Chhattisgarh. Nestled in the Narayanpur district, Remawand is one such village where limited connectivity and difficult roads often make timely medical care inaccessible. Recognizing this need, Shri Aurobindo Nethralay, in collaboration with Niramay Aarogya Sansthan, took another meaningful step towards ensuring that quality eye care reaches even the most underserved communities.
A dedicated team of doctors and healthcare professionals travelled through challenging terrain to organize a Free Eye Check-up Camp in Remawand. Their mission was simple yet powerful—to ensure that distance never becomes a barrier to better vision and healthier lives.
The camp benefited school students, teachers, and villagers, who underwent comprehensive basic eye examinations and received expert guidance on maintaining good eye health. The medical team also created awareness about the importance of regular eye check-ups, early detection of vision problems, and preventive eye care. Individuals requiring further evaluation or specialized treatment were advised accordingly and guided for the next steps.
For the people of Remawand, the camp was more than a medical initiative—it was a symbol of care, compassion, and hope. By bringing expert eye care directly to their doorstep, the initiative eliminated the need for many residents to travel long distances for basic consultation, making healthcare more accessible and inclusive.
This outreach program reflects the unwavering commitment of Shri Aurobindo Nethralay and Niramay Aarogya Sansthan to serve communities beyond city limits. Through continuous rural healthcare initiatives, they are working to reduce preventable vision problems while ensuring that every individual, regardless of where they live, has the opportunity to see a brighter future.
Every village reached is another step toward a healthier society, and every eye examined is a promise that quality healthcare belongs to everyone.
